Public Policy
Public policy and substantial reforms in Iraq and the Kurdistan region have shown to be incredibly resilient. Despite motivated assistance from the international community aiding the Iraqi government to improve governance and policymaking.

Elections
Central to the democratic system is elections; if democracy is the rule by consent, elections are the vehicle to make it so – they are synonymous with each other. Elections are a checks-and-bounds balancing system, enabling the people of a nation to uproot their government if dissatisfied with it. Without elections, the definition of a democracy is mute.

Media
If elections are the vehicle for democracy and a brighter future, an unbiased and informative media apparatus is its engine.

Information Disorder
If truthful and factual media is of paramount importance, then the opposite is likewise crucial to avoid. Fake news or disinformation is rampant on social media, sowed from interested parties from either monetary or political agendas.

Environment
A newer addition for Pasewan is bettering the environment and preventing environmental disasters.

Human Rights
Human Rights and environmentalism are closely linked in the effects environmental disasters have on humanity.
